Information for Pastors
Feel free to review the rest of my web page, but this section is designed primarily for pastors or mission coordinators;  those leaders that have a burden to fulfill the Great Commission by sending missionaries such as myself to where the lost and needy people are.

Ministry Goals
My goal is to be the most effective servant that I can on the mission field. God has called me to serve Him and I am going make myself as usable to Him as I can. The following are not things I guarantee to accomplish they are simply things I am asking God to do through me. Looking back in 5 years I may see that I haven’t accomplished any of these goals, however I beg God to let me see that I have accomplished much for Him, whether it was on this list or not.

5 year goals
  • Give the message of salvation to all I meet
  • Be in Urubamba, Perú with 100% support
  • Be fluent in the use of Spanish
  • Have a solid foundation in Learning Quechua
  • Have an active integrated discipleship with literacy program ready in Quechua
  • Seek nationals in each area to take over the discipleship/literacy program (work myself out of a job)
  • Assist in Church Plants, encouraging ladies ministries with literacy and discipleship.
  • Help train nationals that are studying at the Seminary
  • Be support to the other missionaries on the Cusco Team making their work more effective
  •  Be a faithful steward of what God leads me to do
10 year goals
  • Continue giving the message of salvation and training the saved to win others
  • Continue refining language use
  • Revise discipleship/literacy program to make it better
  • Continue work with discipleship/literacy program
  • Fluency in Quechua
  • Teach students in the Seminary to take the discipleship/literacy program where they go to serve
  • If there is a need, start a ministry for the deaf
  • Faithful service in the harvest
  • Whatever else God leads me to

Ministry Philosophy
I go to Perú not to teach English or American culture, not to send nationals to America to live or study, but to adapt myself to their culture and their language to be most effective in reaching them. I will work along side church planters to help in the planting of churches pastored by trained nationals. I will seek out the poor and unreached where they are and not sequester myself in the city or missionary compound. I will have as my goal not to start anything that does not have the goal of being one day taken over by a Peruvian national. I will seek to work myself out of a job, helping to establish a work, which would go on if I should die or be forced to leave. I will strive wholeheartedly to avoid creating dependency, starting ministries that can go on without the presence or financial support of the missionaries.
