Trip Briefs August 17th, 5 PM CDT ARRIVED HOME! I'll sleep in my own bed tonight. Over the next week I'll be sorting things out and get some photos out here for you to see. Lord willing, I'll be making a report to my local church, Antioch Bible Baptist Church, during the evening service on August 25th, 2002. I leave for my senior year at Pensacola Christian College on August 28th. August 17th, 6 AM EDT Arrived Miami! I have to wait for my 12:29 PM flight to St. Louis and then on to Kansas City. Arrive KC at 4:19 PM. August 16th, 7 PM CDT Many greetings from lima!. Gloria's sister, Isobel, is a gem. We got to see a lot of the city. I got to go to see La Molina and also Fetzer and the ARRIBA training area. No definite direction. We are going to do dinner and then head to the airport about 8:30. My flight doesn't leave until 10:57 PM CDT for Miami. I am really excited about being home. I am bringing a bag full of stuff for Emily (Isobel's daughter, a PCC student). Small world! August 15th I am coming home! A very busy and profitable summer is coming to a close. I am packing my suitcase and confirming flights. I am very sad to leave a people I have come to love very much. They threw a going away party last night and there were lots of hugs and tears. Please pray for safety as I travel home. I will have 14 hours in Lima (a city with a higher crime rate than Geary, IN). I will be met by a sister (Isobel) of one of the believers (Gloria) that lives here in Cuzco. We will get to see La Molina Christian Schools, Fetzer Academy, and the ARRIBA program. Then I'm going to the sister's house for lunch. Then it's off to KCI. I should be in Church Sunday if All goes as planned.
